We started this initiative in 2024 to connect newcomers and locals in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

Stichting Eigenwijks, the largest residents’ organization in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, works together with residents to create a socially strong and livable neighborhood.

Translated to Dutch “Laten we Praten” is a place to meet, make friends and socialize without any preconditions.

We are open every Wednesday from 5 to 9 PM at De Honingraat – Slotermeerlaan 103.

During dialogues, conversations and board games, locals help newcomers with their language and other concerns they might have regarding their settling in Amsterdam.
