The Ubuntu Embassy is founded to give (undocumented) migrants and refugees a voice and a face. Our Ambassadors receive tailor-made training to tell their story, give workshops and with this accomplish education and connection.
About us
We train speakers
From the target group to become representatives and torch bearers to their cause. We do guest lectures, presentations and organize Human Library sessions in which we bridge the gap between undocumented Amsterdammers and Amsterdam.
Our services
Together with our trained Ambassadors we provide different services, dedicated to share our experiences, create understanding and learn from each other.
Wether it is a workshop, a cultural event or a lecture: we create a custom made collaboration for every circumstance.
Our services are multi-faceted: we support other organizations, we mentor and supervise clients, we organize events and we offer internships to students.
Stories that Matter
Workshop that teaches how to bring your own story and engange your audience
Consultancy
Advice on issues in the field of asylum, civic integration, and participation
Booking of Storytellers
We provide storytellers for gatherings and (cultural) events
